Eugene Thomas Manor is located in South Central Los Angeles on Western Avenue, a major east/west thoroughfare, between Adams Boulevard and the Santa Monica (I-10) Freeway. The Los Angeles Metropolitan Medical Center, a 200-bed hospital with programs to treat persons with HIV/AIDS, lies directly across the street from the property, while a kidney dialysis center is located within one block of the property.

Community Benefits:

The project is situated in the Adams Normandie 4321 Redevelopment Zone, an area targeted by the City of Los Angeles for the provision of incentives for new construction and redevelopment. This area is also part of the Los Angeles Community Development Bank Empowerment Zone, a county-wide program.
